Shiv Shishya

God Shiva is considered to be most worshiped in Hindu religion. But Lord Shiva is also designated as Guru and the disciple of Lord Shiva is named "Shiv Shishya" or Shiv Shisya".

Tulsidasa who wrote Ramcharitmanas (famous hindu holy book) had consider himself as the disciple of Lord Shiva. In his famous poem Hanuman Chalisa he wrote "Shree Guru Charana Saroj Raja Nij Man Mukura Sudhari" where "Shree Guru" refers to Lord Shiva. Now a day many hindu followers consider Shiva as Guru. It is estimated that there approx 2 million devotees in India residing in Bihar, UP and West Bengal used to worship Shiva as their Guru. They usually chant “NAMAH SHIVAYA” to salute Shiva. They follow three sutras (rules) for being a disciple of shiva which are as follows:

  • Chanting “NAMAH SHIVAYA” 108 times in a day.
  • Asking mercy from Shiva.
  • Share their spiritual achievements to others as a Shiv Shishya.

  1. Yes i completely go along with the 3 sutras mentioned above... believe me or not just put to test and judge by result. I had done that years ago and got all i have in my life from my Guru Lord Shiva n yes never forget that this was started by Saheb Harinder and Didi Nilam a long ago and we got to hear it from them so you can also ask mercy from them as Shiv shisya says that Saheb Harinder is other role model of Shiva n Maa didi Nilam is idle of Maa Bhawani.. and its 100% true.. if you want to test it or judge it put to test for oncw it doesn't cost you at all to be a Shiv Shishy or shishya just follow the three sutras and see the result for more information visit shivshishyapariwar.org or shivshishyapariwar.com. Saheb says that Lord Shiva is a Guru its just we who needs to follow the sutras to be his Shishy or shishya...
